Dual Employment

Per HOP 1.33 academic campus employees are required to disclose all outside activities, to include Dual Employment, annually, and within 30 days of a change. An employee is considered "dual employed" when holding two or more jobs.

Current employees who are considering an additional position with another State of Texas agency must contact The People Excellence Department prior to beginning the secondary employment. As part of this process, employees will work with People Excellence to complete all required documentation. The People Excellence team will partner with the appropriate office at the other State of Texas employer to review the details of the dual employment request and determine next steps.
