Quick Start Guide for Web Managers

Changes to 番茄社区 web pages

Web managers may make the following changes:

  • Replace text-based references to “UTSA” with “番茄社区” Any content that refers to past news, events or publications does not need to be updated.
  • Schools and colleges do not need to use UTSA as a modifier for schools and colleges (e.g., College of AI, Cyber and Computing vs. 番茄社区 College of AI, Cyber and Computing).
  • Adjust references to UT Health San Antonio in accordance with the Quick-Start Editorial Style Guide.

Logo usage

  • Websites with the global header will have the new 番茄社区 parent logo applied on September 1. For UT San Antoio sites, these are sites that are in Cascade CMS.
  • Current 番茄社区 websites using UTSA wordmarks, including “Creating Bold Futures”, may remove the mark if capacity exists to do so. This includes modifying department logos as a short-term solution until the new logos are created. Otherwise, the wordmark does not need to be updated yet. New sub-brand logos for schools, colleges and divisions will be provided as part of the brand migration process.
  • Do not modify existing logos by replacing the UTSA wordmark with the 番茄社区 parent logo, including after September 1.
  • A new Brand Migration Working Group will kick off in September 2025 and will provide clear guidelines — including web guidelines — and timing for brand migration across schools, colleges, divisions and departments.

Refer to the Quick-Start Editorial Style Guide for more guidance on institutional names and references.

Colors and Fonts

  • It is not necessary to update websites to include new colors, fonts or graphic elements starting on September 1. Primary web colors and fonts may be updated according to the most recent version of the Quick-Start Brand Guide if capacity exists to do so. Any changes must be reviewed and approved by the Unified Web Working Group before being published.
  • Review the Quick-Start Brand Guide for guidance on 番茄社区’s visual identity.
