隆Viva Fiesta! Enjoy the Celebrations With Convenient On-Campus Parking Options
It’s time to Fiesta! returns from April 16-26, 2026. Also returning is convenient on-campus parking: Campus Services will again provide flexible parking options at the Downtown Campus to help the community enjoy the celebrations with ease.
Parking
Students, faculty and staff with a valid 番茄社区 parking permit can park as usual in designated areas consistent with their permit type. Campus Services will actively monitor the Downtown Campus Garage, Monterey Lot and Durango Lot to help ensure parking availability for permit holders throughout the festivities, while other downtown surface lots will be operated by the university’s contracted vendor during Fiesta. Drivers must display or present a valid permit when entering Campus Services-managed locations to avoid being charged hourly parking fees.
Visitors without a 番茄社区 parking permit can also take advantage of convenient parking on campus during Fiesta. The Dolorosa Lot (located next to San Pedro I), Cattleman’s Square, and lots D1, D2 and D3 will open to guests daily starting at 10 a.m. for a daily fee of up to $25, offering a centrally located parking option for those attending Fiesta events.
Transportation
During Fiesta, traffic in and around the downtown area is heavier, and travelers are encouraged to allow extra time to reach their destinations. To streamline your trip, Campus Services encourages attendees to consider alternative transportation options. University students, faculty and staff can utilize their VIA U-Pass to access free transportation through VIA Link, an on-demand, rideshare-style service that can help riders get closer to Fiesta destinations without needing to find parking nearby. Riders can book trips through the VIA Link app,
The Little Runner also offers a free (with the U-Pass) and efficient way to move between the university’s downtown locations and surrounding areas.
