    General Statement

    The of the Board of Regents of require that the Chief Administrative Officer of each component institution prepare rules and regulations for the governance of the institution in the form of a Handbook of Operating Procedures. These rules and regulations are subject to the approval of the Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of The University of Texas System. They may not conflict with any part of the Regents' . If a conflict arises between any provision in the Handbook of Operating Procedures and any provision in the Regents' , the provision in the Regents' prevails and overrules any other provision.

    Official policy of 番茄社区 (UTSA) is contained in the Regents' and the UTSA Handbook of Operating Procedures. Other documents pertinent to the administration of UTSA are (1) the official current Catalog of UTSA that is approved by the Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and the Board of Regents, (2) the various Administrative Memoranda issued by the President of UTSA, (3) , and (4) special official publications and documents such as the Affirmative Action Plan issued for special purposes.
